About an hour northeast of Zion National Park, Duck Creek Village is a resort community offering four-season fun and access to pristine nature in the heart of Utah’s Dixie National Forest.

Though it may not be well-known, savvy travelers have loved Duck Creek Village for decades, and Hollywood directors have filmed more than a few movie and television productions here.  In fact, Hollywood starlet Elizabeth Taylor called the area her home in the 1940s while filming “Drums Along the Mohawk” and “National Velvet.”

Aside from the town’s rich movie history, Duck Creek puts visitors in a prime location to explore the best of southern Utah. With  Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon less than an hour away, as well as nearby national monuments and forests, outdoor enthusiasts have a lot to love here. And the 650-acre Brian Head Ski Resort is 30 miles away for those itching to hit the slopes during a winter visit.

So whether you’re coming to enjoy summer activities like hiking, biking, and four-wheeling, or winter sports like skiing and snowboarding, life doesn’t get much better than when you’re in Duck Creek Village.
