Paige Triola is a Pennsylvania-born, Colorado-based freelance writer specializing in outdoor
gear, camping, hiking, and travel. While she has been an avid outdoor enthusiast and explorer
since childhood, she’s been writing professionally about these things for the past 5 years.
Before she took up freelance journalism full time, Triola dabbled in various work experiences
such as building and maintaining trails in Kentucky, managing company blogs and social media accounts at a digital marketing agency, and working as a web producer for Rodale, Inc.

Equipped with a scientific education, she logically decided to pursue a writing career and has produced articles for Runner’s World, Bicycling, Popular Mechanics, GearJunkie, Wide Open Spaces, and other titles primarily in the athletic and outdoor recreation sphere.
