Lovingly nicknamed “Breck”, the town of Breckenridge is one of Colorado’s most popular ski towns.
And like most ski towns, there’s plenty of year-around outdoor adventure to be had here. From hiking and mountain biking to pub-crawling on Main Street to snowmobiling and gold planning, there’s always something to do in these parts.
With Breck’s fantastic “free ride” bus system — plus numerous ski lifts within a few blocks of downtown — it’s really easy to get around the town. Of course, if you’re looking to hit the trails in summer or fall, a car is handy to hit the outlying trailheads (though you could always just rent one for a day of exploring.)
No matter what season you’re planning your trip, Breckenridge offers a fantastic selection of airbnbs. In general, most of the homes downtown are townhouses and condos, and since those take up less space, there are hundreds just a few steps from town. There are standalone homes, too, but they can be a little harder to come by.
You’ll find both condos and single-family cabins on this list of the best airbnbs in Breckenridge, including numerous properties from legendary superhosts Jack & Jarrod.
