Lovingly nicknamed “Breck”, the town of Breckenridge is one of Colorado’s most popular ski towns.

And like most ski towns, there’s plenty of year-around outdoor adventure to be had here. From hiking and mountain biking to pub-crawling on Main Street to snowmobiling and gold planning, there’s always something to do in these parts.

With Breck’s fantastic “free ride” bus system — plus numerous ski lifts within a few blocks of downtown — it’s really easy to get around the town. Of course, if you’re looking to hit the trails in summer or fall, a car is handy to hit the outlying trailheads (though you could always just rent one for a day of exploring.)

No matter what season you’re planning your trip, Breckenridge offers a fantastic selection of airbnbs. In general, most of the homes downtown are townhouses and condos, and since those take up less space, there are hundreds just a few steps from town. There are standalone homes, too, but they can be a little harder to come by.

You’ll find both condos and single-family cabins on this list of the best airbnbs in Breckenridge, including numerous properties from legendary superhosts Jack & Jarrod.

1. Mountain Rustic Chic Condo

Why you should stay: Unique decor, convenient location, and bathrooms with heated floors.

  • Sleeps: 8
  • Minimum stay: 1 night
  • Rates from: $130/night

This classy condo was featured on HGTV’s “House Hunters: Home for the Holidays” back in 2018, so you know the decor has to be good. While the “BRECK” accent wall and rustic dining room table grab all the attention, the bathrooms with heated tile floors are a favorite among guests, especially after your feet are cold from being in ski boots all day.

With a convenient location just a short walk to the ski lifts and Main Street, plus a very affordable rate for its eight-person capacity, this is an Airbnb with a lot going for it. Just be sure to peep the pics of the second bedroom — the bunk bed setup is best suited for families with children or friend groups willing to bunk up.

Why you should stay: Immaculately decorated modern condo with a killer downtown location.

  • Sleeps: 3
  • Minimum stay: 2 nights
  • Rates from: $110/night

This humble studio sits a half a block from Main Street and one block from the Quicksilver Superchair – it’s hard to find a more convenient location. Peak Nine (which the Quicksilver chair serves) is great for beginners, making this a great condo for someone on their first ski trip.

When you’re not hitting the powder or taking a stroll around town, you won’t mind chillin’ in the condo, either. This Jack & Jarrod masterpiece rocks a subdued rustic-chic theme that feels straight off the page of a trendy design magazine.

“This place was so great for a quick Breckenridge stay. You are in the heart of everything here & it was easy to find and get in and out of! Interior is adorable and has everything you need!”

Why you should stay: Live out your “I won the lottery” mountain fantasies in this multi-million dollar home.

  • Sleeps: 10
  • Minimum stay: 2 nights
  • Rates from: $582/night

The ultimate Jack & Jarrod retreat, the Gold King Haus is tucked away in the woods on the south end of Breckenridge. This cabin offers the most seclusion of all the airbnbs in Breckenridge listed here, yet it’s only a seven-minute drive down to Main Street.

While you’ll love the location, the house itself is even more incredible. With high-vaulted ceilings, Scandinavian-style furniture, European hardwood floors, a grand fireplace, and an airy open floor plan, the place is a work of modern art.

There’s also plenty of space for fun. You’ll find a pool table (converts to a card table, dining table, or craps table) in the family room, plus there’s plenty of outdoor space — a heated upper deck with a grill and a lower deck with a hot tub. Gold King Haus might just be the number one cabin rental in Breck.

Why you should stay: Rustic-meets-lux in a log cabin with its own wine bar.

  • Sleeps: 8
  • Minimum stay: 1 night
  • Rates from: $282/night

Searching for a cabin where your crew can spread out a bit? This rustic log cabin is located on a quiet street in the Peak 7 neighborhood. It’s a quick drive downtown, but it feels like you’re tucked deep in the woods. And while the hosts went all-out with the rustic theme, they also went all-out on the luxury upgrades — including a hot tub and wine bar.

While ski-in, ski-out isn’t an option here, it’s only a ten-minute drive through the neighborhood to the Breck Park Stables Garage, or the nearby Peaks trailhead — an awesome hiking spot in summer or fall. This is one of the best Airbnbs in Breckenridge for people who don’t plan on going out on the town every night, but do plan on enjoying a bit of solitude.

Why you should stay: Ultra-modern two-bedroom space with a loft and jaw-dropping mountain views.

  • Sleeps: 6
  • Minimum stay: 2 nights
  • Rates from: $110/night

Though it’s only 750 square feet, this compact condo makes the most out of its space, managing to fit in two bedrooms and an additional sleeping loft. While the condo sports a classic A-frame layout, superhosts Jack and Jarrod really outdid themselves with an “alpine-modern” design that feels open and airy.

The views are perhaps the biggest selling point — they’re arguably the most stunning of any of the airbnbs in Breckenridge on this list. You’ll see forested hills and high peaks through the oversized windows in the main living area and from the balcony. It’s definitely cooler than the average condo.

The living room is just too damn cool, with a wood-plank wall backing a pair of bright-red skis and an old set of antlers. Don’t be surprised if you want to repaint your own home after a few nights here.

The condo is an older building on one of the historic neighborhood streets, so you’ll really feel like a local during your stay. You can walk to the Breck gondola and downtown, and there’s a bus stop just down the street. It’s a great location if you plan on spending time downtown (or are planning on a late night or two at the local bars.)

While the location rocks, so does the condo itself, with its modern-rustic decor paying homage to Breck’s past and present.
